Which culture? The culture of the country you are living in? Maybe, although I doubt it. The culture of the rest of the Spanish-speaking world? It 100% doesn't. I couldn't possibly start to understand all the nuances in communication in the different cultures within the Spanish-speaking world, much less make sweeping generalizations or assure that pet names are not normally used in any part of these countries. And I was born and raised in Spain, spent +30 years living here, and also spent time living in Chile and Colombia.

Read the comment section and you will see plenty of native non-white people from the country of this video's origin and agree with my point.

Like I said... you are generalizing and making assumptions about a language spoken by +500 MILLION PEOPLE. You really think a few comments in reddit from people from the same country, agreeing with you, prove your point?

Also, the fact that you mentioned that these people agreeing with you are "non-white" only remarks how intensely out of your depth you are in this debate.
