I wonder how long it’ll take for the band and everyone who blindly follows the thin bubble NFT system that they could still establish a closer connection to the fans without alienating fans by buying worthless gambling pictures (imagine spending hundreds of dollars on a picture and all you get is weekly poker nights) which in turn fuel the already large and growing carbon footprint that has led to chip shortages everywhere needed to produce ETH

They could do this much cheaper with noticeably less e-waste if they used something like a certain charity donation to enter a pool similar to NFT selection, but fans who don’t feel comfortable spending hundreds of dollars on a fucking PICTURE get to still be involved and feel appreciated without the bullshit that follows NFTs and the unbelievably high costs both financially and ecologically they entail

It really is a shitty fucking “future” where a band to fan connection is determined by gambling high dollars on JPEGs
