The dark origin of the word "Christian"

I wasn't quoting not misquoting anything. Learn how to listen and understand when a person is quoting something or when someone is making a general statement about something. Even ESV says "but some believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees rose up and said, "It is necessary to circumcise them AND to order them to keep the law of Moses." Acts 15:5. So it was about both! Obedience to circumcision AND the obedience to law of Moses are obsolete by the Lord's blood. Circumcision is about initiation into the covenant which required the law of Moses. There is no requirement to obey the law of Moses apart from being circumcised into that old covenant that we are no longer under.

We are dead to the LAW. Not just to circumcision. Not just to Sabbath days and feast days. We dead to that entire law. "I through the law died TO the law that I might live to God." Galatians 2:19

"Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may married to another- to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God." Romans 7:4

Teaching people to keep the law of Moses is serious deal because you follow the footsteps of the Pharisees working against the cross rather than for it. The entire book of Galatians explains that we are not under that law not just parts of it. And if attempt to keep part of that law you are a debtor to keep that entire law, estranging yourself from Christ. It is not wrong for a person to get circumcised. It is wrong to keep the law as a requirement to follow Christ. You can keep practices of the law freely just out of personal desire to keep traditions that isn't a bad thing. It isn't bad if people freely want to observe Sabbath specifically in the Sabbath day or if they want to keep feast days for their own personal devotion. But when people do those things thinking that they must in order to obey Christ they fail to hear and understand and believe and follow Christ and are instead living by a different covenant and not the covenant that the Lord implemented. Your heresies are no small matter they in fact hinder believers from salvation rather than lead believers to walk in the way of salvation.

And I am not interested in your heresies.
