Is the Holy Spirit hope?

Recently I realized I had given up hope and then we found out we had an early miscarriage on Friday. One reason I half expected it was because God told me recently that He was playing hide and seek again. Now the Holy Spirit is here giving me hope. I don't know if this is a random thought I had when thinking about hope but I thought about how Jesus was crucified and that gives us the example to give up our lives or everything contained therein for the ones we love. But since the Holy Spirit is the giver of hope/at least associated with hope, if the Spirit were crucified, it would give us the wrong impression because we are never supposed to sacrifice hope. That also speaks to the value of religion in general because sometimes God is the only source of hope. But God's gifts give me plenty of hope regardless, I was just too blind to see it.
