How does this game compare to other competitive games like Dota and Overwatch?

It maybe old but it's held up and frankly overwhelming with all the play modes, daily check in bonuses, (consisting of premium currency (i.e. Rubies)), skins, icons, emotes, statical breakdowns, esports, dedicated smartphone apps, single player with bots to practice and three or four times the toons. Older? Yes. Is it going anywhere? Absolutely not. I expect the market and games within the same genre to evolve and at least keep pace. If you're going up against a monster like Smite, you better have something it doesn't stand out and offer anything drastically different. Why are any of the Smite players going to leave and join our community when they have nothing to gain aside from a this being "new"? Because "new" is the only thing it really has to offer over Smite and other MOBA's. It's in Beta / "preview" meaning it shouldn't be far from release. I hope they have features ready to go for when it's "released" because this being available to everyone ("preview" or not) and it's going to lose momentum with long wait times. "Preview" does not and shouldn't convince anybody here to be okay with backing content when the only answers we get from the devs regarding future content is TBD. .
