How politically involved are you?

Waited for enough CAs answer before I posted. I follow up on American politics, and international politics like the protests in Serbia. However, I'm not active in politics and don't take action. Largely, American politics can be exhausting. Things tend to be politicized out of nothingness and stories aren't newsworthy unless they are controversial. But I don't have a career that's going to be surrounded by politics either so there is little incentive.

My first republicanism was last year where I voted for national politicians, some state politicians and officials plus laws, and then some local offices. I just realized how little I knew as I voted for some of the state and local offices.

My main issues are more about global future projections...climate change, automation, and population growth. I've been researching about how the planet can continue to satisfy both human needs and environmental concerns. I pretty much think that the globe just needs to abandon the growth, corporatist economic model for post-growth where companies are stripped of their profit-driven motivations for a more humanitarian role.
