I've been single-handedly working on an adventure map called Dream Walker since 2013. Here is what I have so far.

To answer some questions: 1. When will the map be released?

I am not certain as of now. I've been working a bunch on the map recently and want to finish it soon. But I also don't want to rush it. Remember, I'm kind of a 1-man team as of now.
  1. What is the story?

I won't reveal too much, but the majority of the map takes place in the dream world. A being has put all residence of your home area to sleep as it eats off of the dreams of others. You fortunately can lucid dream. You take control and attempt to find a way to force yourself to awaken from an eternal sleep.

Also, there are two different versions of the story that will automatically occur depending if you are playing alone or with friends. They are both very similar, but made to make sense with the amount of players on the map.

  2. What is your inspiration?

I want to later in life work as a game developer, so stuff like character development, creating environments, story lines, etc... interest me. Minecraft is an easy way to practice. I also have played some of Hypixel's maps, which really showed me what potential there is to work with in map building. I want to attempt to do things that I don't see other maps do very often and see what works. For instance, this map will begins the moment you load in, and the rules/introduction are not given till after you complete some tasks first. I also don't want this map to be played fully through in one sitting and have it require some time in order to beat. I'm shooting for around 10 hours of game-play.

  3. Resource pack?

John Smith Legacy. I'm building the map with this texture pack in mind, but it won't be required.

  4. Will you post more later on?

Yes, I will give updates and pictures of the map as I complete them. And remember, any that I show or have already shown may be changed by the final release.
