Just a fantastic day!

First off you're completely right and your angle on this did help me clarify a few points today. Without threatening action, but definitely demonstrating the lack of justification and evidence, and also presenting every evidence to completely clear me in both scenarios, I have succeeded in getting my company to back way way off my case, and some of these folks might even get in trouble for false reporting. I brought a statement with me from my legal counsel and at their request I took my original post down just in case. However, they were already willing to bend over on this one apparently, and then they gave in extra hard when I presented everything to them. I was offered to take the day if I needed it due to the hardship, and I worked as normal instead, (though I will admit, I continued working somewhat out of spite, to show them what my character and integrity actually looks like). I also didn't apologize, and the request for me to do so was completely rescinded. I've made sure they are aware that at this point as long as I continue to show up and perform well, I am either moving up or moving out somewhere I will be valued for my actual worth. There's been a lot of hubbub about this now, but I seem to have earned some credit with managememt for being a no-bullshit character here. Lots of smiles and lots of people telling me that I have a future there but I honestly don't care. I'm set on advertising myself every day for the foreseeable future regardless, because I only started work at this location as a convenient way to afford moving from one state to another. (As I'm already extremely overqualified for my position as-is.)
