Just finished requesting a refund for this game.

Because the deluxe edition is more expensive, and as a consumer, the only realistic way to make your voice heard in scenarios like this is to request a refund.

Obviously one refund in and of itself is not really moving the needle in terms of revenue, but don't forget that a huge part of the reason Sony removed Cyberpunk from the PS Store was because CDPR encouraged dissatisfied users to refund their copy of the game. Ultimately refunds create more work for the company required to honor them (Sony in this case), there may be some other negative consequences as well but I don't really know enough about the actual interaction that takes place between the company and the financial institutions in question to say whether or not that is the case.

Ultimately the fact is, you can either wait and see if this issue is resolved or you can refund the game and save a few bucks by picking up the standard version when it launches. People can post all of the inflammatory and insulting comments/tweets directed at the developers they want to but at the end of the day the only way to speak in this case is with your wallet.
