Like son like dad

I really dont get this, why not just let the wee boy dress as he pleases? What about the situation required the dad to dress up? To me at least it just comes across as virtue signalling, Well Done, do you update Tik Tok every time you do something nice for your child? Surely if it's not a big deal for the wee guy to dress up, which I believe me and the dad both agree that it isnt, there is no need to also dress up. Unless its for your sake or hes asked you to. Otherwise its just making a statement about dad, that im sure the wee boy wasnt interested in making. Wee guy just wanted to be Elsa, he should totally be allowed to do so, all dad had to say was sure, worst case intervene if some bs pops up. Hes making out as if its a big deal when its far from it.
