About two years ago, I reached out online and asked people to donate to a GoFund me to get my car back on the road so I could work. I was astounded by the generosity when I’d been in a bad place for a long time, and not always making the best choices. But I did get my car on the road and was able to work. And now, three years later, I’m working a well-paid reputable job, in a stable happy home with my family, and all around just completely turned my life around. That one round of gifting gave me the chance to change my life. And I did. I needed to leave the area quickly and sorta hide from abusive family so a lot of people that gave to me probably have no idea how well I’m doing. I guess I’m telling you because I can’t tell them.
