It's not "pandering to the left" , its called being a decent enough human being. I love Louis just like everyone else and I'm so glad he is back, so glad! But he does have a certain responsibility to be a decent enough human being, just like everyone else, but especially because he pulled some gross ass shit. I want his jokes to be provocative, just as provocative as they always have been but he doesn't get to say whatever he wants, especially when it comes to the treatment of women. That said I have no idea what his new jokes are about, I want to hear them, but he should be careful. Cool it with that attitude about pandering to the left, it's just pandering to common decency, not to the heft. Louis is allowed to be gross to a certain extent, it's a big part of his art form and it's what makes him superb, but come on man, unclench on that macho shit, I've made that mistake before, I made a comment about not being able to listen to a podcast because of the sound of a women's voice on a sub and got pounded for it, and I understand that. Men should dial it back right now and just try to be respectful for once in fucking history
