lvl 3 warlock hexblade help

Unfortunately I will be more of the frontline adventurer. Our fighter in ranged and taking the arcane arrows subclass. So I am trying to hit had and be somewhat survivable. I would like to take Elven Accuracy at level 4 instead of taking an increase in a point or maybe wait until level 8.

To be a bit more survivable I was thinking of taking blade ward cantrip. Then have eldritch blast invocations: agonizing blast and Devil's sight level 1 spells would be armor of agathys and hellish rebuke or hex leve 2 spells Darkness and Misty Step

I guess I will be more of a mobile frontliner. For the flair of it I picture the character being flash with misty step and eventually blink. Does that make more sense. Maybe you can give me a better idea how to build that?

We have a fighter who is more ranged and sublcassing into arcane arrows. A healer who is non-combatant and doesn't like to heal very much because he doesn't want others to know he uses magic. (in this young world people who use magic are hunted). A rogue who doesn't steal because its morally wrong and uses only tomahawks. And a typical ranger.
