Hi UncleArthur, thanks for pointing out that other countries will have other legalities, and you mentioned some situations. In the UK, I’m wondering why people who have estates/assets under 1m pounds should be treated differently? Also surely single folks with or without children, and/or ones in LGBTQ+ relationships might be treated differently? Seems like you only included a very small part of the population in your scenario. Most people won’t have over a million in assets, but what they do have is equally as important to them for protecting their beneficiary. If there’s a reason they can’t do the same as someone wealthier, can you please explain why not? Maybe on your side of the pond it’s different from here.
