You are as many other game devs make one huge mistake IMO. You listen to those cries. Why shouldn't you? It would be extremely disrespectful not to listen to your playerbase, yes. But it is disrespectful AND dumb to just do whatever people whine about. Don't you guys have your own idea of what IMBA should be? Was this the original idea, to make most of skills completely pointless? If I remember correctly you guys were planing to make everyone retardedly strong when mode came out. Maybe there was internal drama? Idk. Still, don't you think it is wrong to pander to vocal anonymous minority on forums? Maybe everything is actually good rn and majority of players is satisfied, but you can't even know that until you question every single one of them. Would have been great if you added some type of weekly voting for changes. Or maybe it is that most of donators enjoy frantic.
