I was saed and I went to therapy for it, my therapist explained to me how it happened and why it happened so perfectly. So basically rapists have sociopathic, narsacisstic, and sadistic behavior, they like to feel power and feel like they are in charge they enjoy seeing their victims in pain. How it does happend you might ask? Really easy, it's a matter of opportunity, the right place and the right time, either rapists will choose their victims before the act sometimes they have that sense of hurting them for weeks and months but they wait for the right moment, or they MAKE the perfect time and the perfect place, they are so smart and good manipulators the task won't take so much creativity for them. You might ask who are the rapists? Basically only 7% are strangers to the victim, 45% their romantic partner 38% relatives and 10% friends, co-workers, classmates etc... They also told me that it have nothing to do with you sex drive because we all have sex drive and we want to have sex constantly but for most of us we can controll it so it's not an excuse for rapists and it actually make no sense
