I don't understand you.

You have dark souls, right? And if you like it soo much, and didn't appreciate from's newer games, then go back and play ds1? Where is the problem? I don't get you dark souls 'elitists' some times. Why do you want to project dark souls 1 on every other from game so goddamn badly? Dark souls 1 is good, yes we get it by now, but nowhere as good as you hardcore fans like to pretend to. What kind of a community is this? Where everyone has to shit on ds2 and worship ds 1 like a religion to a point, that people with different opinions are downvoted like hell and it influenced the development of the latest from game? We should be thankful that from created multiple games offering different experiences for everyone to choose what he/she likes best. If you have your perfect game, then go play it. Basta. There is no point in playing a new game just because you wanted more of an older one.. I'm glad that the level design of ds2 (linear), bb (ds1+hub) and ds3 (semi-linear, semi-ds1+hub) is different to that of ds1, because of that, we have variety to play. The last thing, especially after ds3 showed us very clearly now, is another dark souls 1 clone. And now you can guess why Miyazaki chose dark souls 3 to be a dark souls 1.5: ding ding ding, we have a winner!

it's exactly because of people like you. And ds3 proves to me that from was actually too scared of you elitists to risk something innovative/not like ds1 with ds3. That is also probably the reason why Miyazaki desperately wants to end this goddamn series: he is full of it and can't stand it anymore that all the people just want to see a game from him, that he already made years ago: dark souls. It's like he can't escape his past and grow out of himself and that is why he doesn't want to be involved in another souls game ever again as he said himself in his latest interview.

This post will likely be downvoted like hell, because it is a "unpopular" opinion, but I don't care. It would just further prove that i'm right.
