Yeah the Frank Castle case was the one instant were Matt was more at fault. There were times when Foggy and Karen nagged at him too much but that one definitely felt justified. He was the one that pushed for the case and then he didn’t show up for half of it because he wanted to hang out with the sexy ninja that doesn’t add anything interesting to the show whatsoever. I really didn’t like that Hand arc and it literally could have taken snipers to have ended it. Sure Frank could have mowed them all down in his own, they were pathetic. The Frank Castle case was the more interesting plot line to me and they kept switching back and fourth between a stupid ninja plot, making Matt look destructive in the process.
