Met a Top Dasher last night that was either delusional or in denial

My story is similar to his. I cherry picked from July to December last year and my AR hovered around 35%. My area is pretty decent so I declined a little over half the orders that came in. That was until the 50% program came in November. December slowed down a lot and then January it just came to a screeching halt. I was making $30-35 in a 4-5 hour dinner rush where I was used to making $80-$100+ depending on the night. About 3 weeks ago I bit the bullet, turned on hourly, and just did the grind for 3 shifts. It was AWFUL! I'm talking $4 for 10 miles, etc. But I had to see if DD was still going to be worth it or not. Making $34 on a night wasn't going to be worth it to me and I would need to look for a new side hustle. After I got my AR to 50% I immediately switched to 'per order' and all the good orders came back. The last 2 weeks my AR has climbed to 70% and is hovering between 65% - 75% now. And I don't take any non-tip orders, none. I don't take long mileage (8+ miles) unless I'm getting at least $1.50 per mile.

Believe me, or not, doesn't matter. I don't care about Tony, customers, you, other drivers, etc. This is what is working for me now in my area. I probably shouldn't even be telling you asshats this info and will probably delete this post soon.
