I am going to wager you are young, struggle to find or hold a job, have trouble with your personal relationships and social interactions, and likely have dealt with some issues in your life that have made you this way.

You have constructed a framework for how the world works in your mind and anyone who does not agree with your ideology is not only wrong, but immoral, a turd, boring, or any one of the many insults you have thrown my way today. It makes it easier to neatly categorize others in a negative light, so when you don’t get you want from them, it isn’t your failings that have caused the issue, it’s their own immorality and ignorance. You can write them off no sweat. Common coping mechanism for those who have trauma in their past. If it wasn’t left wing politics, it might have been religion, far right ideas, or any other ideology that offers structure to the world. A very black and white structure.

You probably were a bit of an outcast in high school, with left leanings, but I’m thinking that really ramped up in college. I would wager you have a non technical degree, and spent a good amount of time in academia.

If you ever get out into the real world, I think your views might shift some. Who knows though.
