Even at lower eggs (sub 1000): Lightning ring and La Robba is better than garlic at farming gold. If you are still running around to grab the extra curse from the ring/arrow, lightning ring only. Not only does it kill more enemies faster, but it also does more damage to bosses, so you have less chance of getting paused by a chest pick-up from a boss dying on top of you. All weapons will 1 shot non-bosses. It's just a matter of hitting everything on the screen with the lowest amount of delay between hits. Lightning ring does this best.
At around 1000 eggs, things start to matter less:
Accessories start being less noticeable upgrades. Just pick whatever doesn't evolve your weapon. Even banish after grabbing rank 1 if that's faster for you.
Laurel also becomes unnecessary once you have the armor to not die at 10:00 (50 dmg green death). This makes your life a little easier since you can do 1 weapon lockout and don't have to shuffle through to find laurel and you will only have to pick out your passives.
The hassle of grabbing ring/arrow for extra curse becomes easier because of high move speed, but at the same time less beneficial (relative to not bothering).
At somewhere just under 10000 eggs, you stop being able to play the game:
You move too fast to pick up any chests reliably, so second/third arcana basically become unobtainable. That means you start disco and don't bother with wicked season (even though getting wicked season then disco at 11:00 has a higher gold cap) because you'll be spending 3 minutes trying to grab the damn chest. This also means gains stops being as good since you can't scale off wicked season as well and trouser and gyoru starts being the only ones that "infinitely" scale with level vs gold. Gyoru does get increasingly more gold at higher level due to higher curse, but trouser just farms better even with slower leveling and less enemies. Also, you're stuck with gyoru's sword weapon which causes unnecessary lag.
Grabbing ring/arrow for curse is basically a waste of time, not to mention basically unobtainable for the same reason.
At this point you're not really "playing" the game so much as turning on a bot every 30 minutes to farm gold. Then you have to go through the process of spending the gold on eggs too. Honestly for me at this point, I'm just farming gold in anticipation for future patches, since the process of buying eggs is more annoying than anything else. (Please add a buy all option)
