I’ve done that, but I also realize she might be inundated with a ton of requests or messages from all her different sites and may not see it.

I see that she posts frequently and replies to comments in a lot of them, so I thought I would throw it out there as a way to simply bring it to her attention that a potential customer is waiting to hear from her when she had a moment to respond. She could even just reply to my comment and tell me she’s not interested or only works with subscribers or whatever, but I felt that was the best and most courteous and polite way to explain that I was interested in working with her and see if she responded to either the comment or the dm.

What makes me “that guy” for trying to think of her feelings and be considerate beforehand?

Is it just worded poorly or something? What made you feel the need to reply to me?

Sincere questions here, btw. Not arguing or trying to be a dick about it- I just genuinely don’t think I did anything wrong and misunderstand what the “proper” protocol is in this situation and what I did incorrectly.
