Made about 7k in November/December of 2022, (mainly from betting about $250 units on soccer/football games, was on a hot streak)
Banked 5k, continued betting with the 2k.
Dumbly thought that was the right time to start increasing my unit size by a LOT. (Started betting 1k bets)
Got overconfident and just had loss after loss, starting taking out the original 5k that I had banked, and bet all of it on a 1.62 odds game that lost. (Tried to win 8.1k from 5k).
Went into an even deeper hole trying to get back to where I was. Just went on a horrible losing streak.
Started unit betting and I’m slowly getting back to where I was. I’m not in “negative”, but all the money I made from the books I pretty much returned to them in the end.
TLDR; Made 7k in about 3 weeks, lost all of it about a week later ( 2 x 1k bets and then one 5k bet to win 8.1k.)
