Looks like you've confused metal with goth. It's easily done with how much incorrect information is our there on the goth subculture. If you're generally interested, you gotta know that our subculture is based on goth rock, a genre that developed from post punk. We've got lots of music on this sub that I'm sure you'll love. Gothic literature is not goth. Many goths do enjoy the Gothic genre of literature and film, but it's not a part of what makes the subculture. I don't understand what you mean by goth eating habits? We all have different diets like everyone else. Don't worry about wearing just black. I hardly ever wear black these days. Black clothes are a common aesthetic in the subculture, but it's also common in other subcultures too. It's certainly not a requirement. Goth music is the only requirement.
