Neuralink is kinda spooky

Honestly, the future, in general, is quite spooky.

In the meantime, the baby steps towards the future will have many miraculous results. If you don't think of Neuralink in terms of sci-fi, and instead think in terms of healthcare, the results will be a godsend for those that are trapped in unresponsive bodies.

You can see how even eye tracking software and robotics have already helped to give paralyzed people a new found sense of purpose, freedom, and enjoyment. For example, in the Dawn Ver cafe there are robot servers controlled by paralyzed individuals; here is the BBC article for reference details.

Even VR is already starting to open up a new world of interactions, even allowing the home-bound to experience VR baptism.

I think these technologies will be like canes, hearing aids, and eye glasses. In the future, we will wonder how people lived without the ability to modify their own body using advanced prosthetics and tools, like neural prosthetics. We may eventually even prefer to get upgrade, even if we are 'traditionally' a model of 'healthy human'.
