I'm speaking purely anecdotally. His communication has been clear and leaves no ambiguity. He was one of the first cms to announce a lockdown (and rightfully so). The police in Mumbai have been very very proactive and they've made sure even the vegetable sellers in my area are wearing masks at all time. They've curtailed the loitering very well imo and there's naakabandhi at regular intervals.
As far as the bandra incident goes, I'm sure there's a political angle to it but I have no way of knowing. The number of cases and deaths is high in the state and that's a cause for concern. I don't know if it's because our hospitals aren't well equipped and I honestly don't want to find out.
