Why was the US not cut down in size after the Great Powers realized the Americans were quickly overcoming almost all European countries combined in terms of manufacturing and raw material extraction?

I hate to tell you, but you're just wrong. You talk about invading America like it's some walk in the park. Do you actually KNOW any Americans? Do you think ANY of them, much less ones from the time period we're talking about, would consider living under foreign rule? Say what you will about our politics, our military, whatever. But the people here well and truly do not give a shit who you are, where you come from or how big a dog you think you are. If anyone, including the combined forces of the European powers of the time, were to invade America, there would be no peace treaties. There would be no "taking the east coast", especially not where my brothers in the South (I'm Tennesseean) are concerned. You would have to kill every last one of us to even think about occupation. Our economy or our military could be in ruins, but we would still fight tooth and nail to get you out. That's the kind of grim determination we've had and always will have to maintain our freedom and way of life. Maybe you need to read up on some US history. It's not by accident or happenstance that we are where we are today. You talk about India like that makes your point. It's completely and totally different. You talk about beating back American counterattacks over the Appalachians as if you wouldn't have to worry about the people living under your rule as well. That's also completely false. My man, there's a reason it's never been done since the country was established. And that's because it can't be done. Pure and simple.
