I am the person you're responding to, and I find your comment absolutely hilarious. What you're responding to is the first sentence of a comment that spanned about 6 paragraphs. I thought it was a bit much, but most of it is basically what you said.

He's like... third in command of a foreign army, and the actual head of a shitload of Wyldfae (yeah, "Za-Lord" is probably a legal defense against the White Council killing him). Not to mention the known continuous allegiance, support, and agreement with the Knights of the Cross. Who wants to get (further) on the bad side of the military right fists of The White God? AND the mortals of the world as represented by Chicago? Fuck that, no way the Merlin would allow the White Council to declare that as a public enemy.
