I'm in a Yahoo Mixed Head-to-Head Redraft league. It has 20 teams and I would consider it to be pretty deep and contains some pretty knowledgeable guys.
The stat categories used to score are:
R | H | HR | RBI | SB | BB | TB | AVG | SLG | OPS |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
W | CG | SHO | SV | K | HLD | ERA | WHIP | QS |
Here is my team with their 2014 stats: hitting, pitching

The trade that I'm considering proposing is Jose Bautista, Marlyn Byrd, and Johnny Giavotella for Doug Fister, Angel Pagan, and Joe Panik
The basic deal is I feel like I can make due with the other OF and 1B guys that I have, and I'm not entirely hot on Bautista and Byrd (even though they represent about 60 HRs) just because they don't entirely fit my philosophy. I need pitching which there are essentially no FAs for in my league. I like Fister, he's pretty reliable for QS and W but poor on Ks. In addition, I kinda want Panik because he'd be a reliable backup for Murph who is streaky. And Pagan I feel wraps the whole thing up and makes it even-ish. Giavotella is just because I'd be dropping him to make room for the trade anyway and I figured I'd give this guy the option for him as a new backup 2B.
The other guy hasn't said anything but he probably wants a better 1B as for the first few days he had left the catchers' position empty and played Posey at 1B.
Do you think that there's a chance this trade is accepted? Or am I asking for too much for too little? Or am I hurting my team and this is crazy. Thanks and let me know.
