I Want a original simple american burger recipe from patty to bread preparation..."long and boring describing text, feel free to avoid it :p "

American here:

I love burgers but I only cook them over an open flame of wood or charcoal.... that means they'll need to be thick and a bit juicier than your average burger cooked in a pan.

I take 80/20 ground beef and add some seasoning that I like (salt and pepper and some cayenne pepper with a touch of brown sugar) then I add a small amount of BBQ sauce that I like. Crack an egg into that and add a handful of breadcrumbs or crushed up crackers.

Mix it all up and grill it over a hot grill (hold your open palm 2 inches above the cooking surface and count to 3....by the count of 3 you should be pulling your hand away b/c it hurts).

The buns most americans like are sweeter than normal bread but you can really go with whatever type of reasonably dense roll that fits.

Add some good tomato slices, some raw white onions and mustard.

Pair that with some french fries and a cold beer and you're in business.

A lot of folks will call these 'meatloaf burgers' and that's fair. I find that cooking over fire dries out the burgers too much otherwise.
