There are a LOT of cards that I think have to be retired at some point if Blizzard actually wants decks to feel different truly at some point. These cards are so class-defining that we'll see them for all eternity.

I'm not arguing they are OP and need to be taken out of standard because they are too strong but if we're going off of Blizzard's reasoning of cards showing up everywhere for all time (Their reason for Ice Lance, not wanting freeze mage forever) I would think any of these cards could theoretically be put to wild even if it's a few years from now to stop every set from feeling sameish.

Warrior: Brawl, War Axe, Priest: 1/3 chick, 1 mana buff, shadow words Hunter: Highmane, Kill Command Rogue: Backstab, Eviscerate, Sap, Edwin Mage: Iceblock, Fireball, Frostbolt, Flamestrike, Frost Nova, Blizzard Druid: Innervate, Wild Growth, Swipe, Wrath, Druid of the Claw, Ancient of War Shaman: Hex, Lightning Storm, Fire totem, Flame elemental Warlock: Idk Jaraxxus maybe, Doomguard, 1 drops Paladin: Equality, Consecration, Tirion
