They really "can't" cancel orders? Seriously? I just want to buy my tea somewhere else so I can get it sooner, and they're holding my $75 hostage at this point.

Thanks for assuming I’m an awful customer. I happen to have worked in food service for YEARS and know exactly how people’s hands can be tied. I haven’t spoken to a human BECAUSE I am frustrated and don’t want to make anyone feel like it’s their fault. Coming to Reddit to complain anonymously is entirely different from being a Karen and making someone’s job miserable when they can’t do anything to help me.

I’m upset with management that are tying employees’ hands. They aren’t being transparent with what’s going on, and they’re doing promotions as if they aren’t backed up enough already. I expected slow delivery due to the holidays, but not on a mass scale with zero answers.

That combined with the fact they refuse to cancel an order before they’ve even begun to process it is why I’m frustrated. Once the order is being handled, sure- totally get why they wouldn’t cancel. I’ve ordered from them many times and have had no problems so I never paid attention to their cancellation policy. That’s on me. Return policy, yes. Cancellation isn’t something I usually look for. But if it’s just sitting in their backlog with no one touching it for weeks, I should be able to cancel. But that’s not the employees’ faults.
