Request for Swedish to English translation of an interview with Red Wings (NHL) Defenseman Niklas Kronwall

Kronwall enjoys summer, works out, and plans

It's said that the end is the beginning of a new start. It especially applies to players in the NHL. Either their team misses the playoffs completely, leaves in one of the four playoff rounds, or makes it to the end as Stanley Cup champions - when the final whistle is sounded for the last match of the season, then begins practice for the next one.

Just as much as time away from the ice is a chance to relax from the at least 82 match long hunt after Lord Stanley's trophy, it is a time to improve for the next season and the next hunt for the hockey world's most sought-after trophy. But it is also a time to rest in order to enter the next season with a full focus.

Such is the NHL player's summer.

With the 2015-16 season in the rear-view mirror, and the 2016-17 season ahead of us, NHL (the Swedish edition) will follow a player when they conclude their season and begin preparing for the next season.

Today we begin a series where Swedish NHL reporter Janne Bengtsson follows Detroid Red Wings back Niklas Kronwall during the summer, about his past season, about his summer break, about his worries and joys, and about his training for next season, including the World Cup of Hockey in Toronto in September.

In the first section Niklas Kronwall speaks about the last season, about the summer, and about the events happening that Kronwall is passionate about.
