Have you ever (correctly) had a gut-feeling to dislike someone who, on the surface, was a cool person that everybody else liked? What's that story?

My roommates boyfriend. I knew from the start I didn't like him. He was brand new to town and told my roommate that he was a pharmacist. I called BS from the beginning because he's dumb as a rock. He can't even logically string a few words together to form a sentence, let alone be smart enough to get through pharmacy school.

Turns out he was a drug dealer and also a trust fund baby. He had to finally admit it after I asked to see graduation pictures, white coat ceremony pictures, and then finally i dropped into the pharmacy he claimed to work at only for them to tell me no one by that name worked there.

After I found out he lied about that, I did a quick google search of his name only to find out he is a registered sex offender for child pornography and also had 3 DUIs. Everything started to make sense after that point: the reason he had to build a house out in literal nowhere, the reason he "left His previous state because he wanted something new and fun"- previously lived in California and moved to a state in the Midwest. The Midwest is not new or fun.

Just an all around horrible person and I called it from my first interaction with him
