>!The two detectives from RHD that Jerry puts together with his retired CI do indeed have him set up and whacked over being able to trace the guns back to the two corrupt RHD detectives. As the season progresses Jerry's suspicion of the two grows and he starts surveilling them. He finds them at a club hooked up with the Hatian Warlord that his family has had very grave interactions with prior to immigrating to the US.

Jerry eventually concludes that his CI was killed by the dirty RHD detectives who he put into contact with Bo Jones that are in the Hatian Warlords pocket. In one of the last scenes of Episode 10 Jerry confronts them and I actually thought Jerry was going to get murdered coming out of the bar that he confronts them in.!<

>! All spoilers and speculation at this point but I would say his guilt and reckless pursuit of these corrupt detectives gets him killed in season 6. I am actually shocked he was not killed at the end of season 5, I expected it and by how jerry was shaking when he got back into the car I think he did too.!<
