What's the weirdest thing about Europe (as a whole or specific countries) to you?

I'm an American living in Germany.

I find it strange that the people in this area walk side by side on narrow side walks. They expect you to move out of their way because they're walking with people they know.

They jump in front of you even if you're within inches of boarding the bus or train. I find it weird that they try to enter an elevator at the same time that you're trying to leave it instead of waiting until there's room.

It's weird that almost no one has the patience to deal with someone struggling to speak their language and will either scoff and walk away or immediately start speaking English yet they're adamant about people integrating. They just want you to integrate and practice with others as long as it's not them. I've worked hard to get to a B1 level in German in 4 months of class time. I'll continue through B2 level, but it makes it more difficult when people are like that.
