Scotch is from Scotland. Whiskey describes scotch or whiskey from other countries. Whiskey is American whiskey like Jack Daniels. Bourbon is from Kentucky or some such shit and had more corn in the making process and is generally sweeter. You could do a PhD in in this shit and still not know everything. Just recommended something mid range. But don’t make people feel they are being ripped off. You could convince them to buy the high end shit but they will never come back. Be friendly and get them to spend moderate amounts. When they come back tell them something new you have learned. If that becomes your theme with them they will come back for you and probably come visit you at your next place because you have a connection.
