Help getting husband to do reading/research about birth and newborns

I ironically did most of the research and must admit I found it a bit annoying my wife didn't read much on any of it. She just didn't want to read too much stuff on the internet and go down the rabbit hole of what can go wrong. I have to say that in the end the books didn't help that much except as reference. As longs one person at least has read some of it you'll be okay. It's not like the baby comes out walking and talking. Babies are resilient and there is not much to do initially I found. Family helps though if you got it which we didn't.

Having said that, there is ONE book we both liked which was "Bringing Up Bébé" by Pamela Druckerman. I feel this one put things more in perspective and a fun read. The "Dad" baby books I found super patronizing.

congrats and good luck.
