This thread shows up here more than these ripoffs show up on the app stores.

No they can't do anything about it because 99% of these companies are based in China, who will never pursue their own citizens on behalf of a foreign company based on copyright laws that don't really exist in China.

Nobody will do anything about it and even if they did, it would fail. The apps stores NOT based in China can't remove them fast enough, as soon as they take one down three more pop up.

I'm not sure what you guys who bring these here hope to achieve? The people buying $1.99 IOS apps aren't the purchasing market of PC hunting sims, the CoTW devs know their stuff gets used on app stores by scammers, all devs know because it happens across the board with pretty much every AAA title on the market. It literally costs less to not give a shit than it would to pay out the ass for clearing red tape to get a lawsuit in China with a shell company that will just dissolve before anybody even gets a summons, which will never happen anyway.

Mark the app as a scam and move on.
