Should I contact a recruiter *now*?

I wouldn't be overly confident about losing that much weight that quickly. It's possible, but it will take a lot of work.

Log everything you eat! There's all kinds of apps to help you. And then eat at least 300 calories less than your basil metabolic rate (you can calculate that online).

Most people don't lose more than 2-4 pounds a week max. And the higher end is probably water weight that's easier to lose in the beginning.

Women have a somewhat harder time losing weight as well, testosterone helps a lot, and estrogen tends to make you retain some fat.

But you can do it! 50/3 is about 16.5. So in a little over 4 months at 3 pounds a week you'll be golden! Good luck!
