I think of smoking cigarettes everyday

That's how I felt at first too. You will get there. I've heard two versions of quitting. 1. You hate the smell of cigarettes and it makes you nauseous or 2. You learn to control your impulses. Biggest challenge, long term, is the weight gain. I "quit" almost 9 years ago now and I still have a hard time controlling my weight - it was really easy when I smoked. But, the BIG positive thing I recognize now is how much better I feel - period. Even if I smoke a few cigarettes one night, my body recovers quickly. I can run, I can bike, I am in better shape than I ever was smoking, and I'm 10 years older than when I quit. Keep at it, everyone is different but you will find the right solution for you. The important thing is not too beat yourself up too hard if you fail - but acknowledge than you did and try to do better each time. Eventually you will break the habit.
