Sounds to me like a bunch of white knighting over a guy that just loves his wife, but what do you guys think?

I think it's important to note that you can love someone from the bottom of your heart and still behave in a problematic manner towards them.

The other commenters are correct: his comment heavily emphasizes his wife's race and body. It's very easy to say he's problematic since he only discusses the superficial aspects of his wife, which is usually how people who objectify others talk. So, I do think he's acting racist, sexist, and gross.

That being said, I don't know if this person has been taught how to behave appropriately. Often times people like this are just products of their circumstances. I say this just because the way to convert racists is through conversation, not confrontation.

You might already believe this, but I'm saying this just because I believe that if the dude in question saw this comment section he'd just further entrench into his beliefs. Everyone here is correct but remember that truth only becomes truth if you accept it.
