Every time I try to watch Picard, I am left scratching my head a bit. It is almost like the whole point of the show is nostalgia. Like, there is some value in that, but holy hell did they overdo it.

I have only seed the 1st episode of season 2. They revealed the premise of the rest of the season, and I just have no interest. I don't watch Star Trek to see modern day Earth and weird anti fascist and environmental propaganda. I know fascism is bad and I know we need to get in gear for the environment, but please keep this crap out of my entertainment. It is already in almost everything else out there, from Facebook feeds to fiction. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
