Stubborn cellulite on glutes and hamstrings

I would only ever recommend this to someone with plenty of time to spare, bc you WILL bruise really badly if you do this: oil up heavily and then scrrrrrape up and down your hamstrings with a soup spoon handle held horizontally. Scrape hard enough to depress the skin and see the declivities in the underlying fascia. Tbh it's probably like less than 5 lbs of pressure, but you will bruise instantly and badly. (Try it on your shins and/or calves first if you want to get an idea of the pressure and subsequent reaction. I cannot stress enough that you will bruise QUITE badly, like way out of proportion to the relatively mild discomfort of actually doing the scraping).

I'm pretty sure it's just creating localized swelling--i.e. it's not really doing anything meaningful to your fascia, and certainly not "dissipating adhesions" or whatever--but it really does make cellulite VISUALLY, temporarily, disappear. If you try it, please do so wayyy before you'll need it to see how your tissue reacts. In my experience, the bruises subside about a week before the swelling does. During that period, you'll look smooth, sleek, and shiny--I.e. your SKIN will look plump and healthy even when/if you're extremely lean
