Stupid Question Regarding Beck Bros.

I’m pretty sure they’re based off of the Wilk’s brothers who are big land investors in Montana. I believe some of the ground they purchased cuts off some public land and they won’t allow block management or easements to let others through. They aren’t the first or last rich land investors in the state. Several will buy out entire ranches and lease it to other operations like the 6666, which is based out of Texas. Others will keep the ground to hunt on and might lease it to ranchers in the area to hay or graze. It leaves a sour taste in community members mouths since the land will be sold again at a profit to someone else from out of state since the locals can’t compete with that type of wealth. Since it increases the land value, it makes it really hard for farmers and ranchers to grow their place for the next generation.
