It's not a faceless enemy, they're are real people really attacking other people. People are being physically attacked, raped by cousin and deception, women's shelters have been closed, feminist speakers have been no platformed, people have been run out of academia, women have been attached at feminist protests, women are being raped in prisons and shelters that used to be sex segregated to protect them from that, just the other day a go fund me to raise money for a rape crisis shelter that was vandalized and defunded for only allowing women born women for safety of the women seeking shelter there and the employees was shut down my people mass reporting it as hateful. Things on Twitter sometimes reflect things with real world consequences, and feeling that sometimes the distinction between sex and gender matters in intimate settings is one with very real consequences outside Twitter.
