Seeing how uncles are getting banned by Mihoyo, it tells us that 2.1 (and the anniversary) will actually be something big and not just a small festival filled with rerun banners with a mail given to us saying : ‘Hey there traveler~ to celebrate our one year anniversary for Genshin Impact, here are 50 primogems! ＼(^o)／’

I personally hope for the release of the new element, Dendro, and 2 new dendro characters, Baizhu and Yaoyao, to get released with it. I know it sounds far-fetched, since 2.0 is a huge update and to get another huge update after it seems too good to be true, but I want to keep my hopes up for it.

We’ll be getting the leaks for 2.1 very soon (hopefully) and if it’s not Baizhu then I’m hoping that it’s at least a new 5 star and 4 star (so maybe Gorou or Yae or honestly any new character is fine as long as it’s not only reruns)
