What is flair?

There are four types of flair in use on this subreddit.

1 - User flair

This is the text containing your Friend Code and In-Game Name seen on the right side of your username when you post in the subreddit.

It is required to set this flair before posting. Users can freely edit their flair text but must include their Friend Code. To do so, click on edit flair found on the right-hand side of the page.

It will look something like this:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX | Name

2 - Link flair

This is used to mark posts so that it is clear which posts have been fulfilled. To mark posts, simply click on flair which can be found below your post, to the right of comments, edit, share, save, hide and delete.

It is not obligatory to mark posts, but it is appreciated if you do.

There is a problem with setting the user and link flairs on iOS Safari.

3 - Giveaway flair

Generating Pokémon for others or holding giveaways will allow you to apply for a giveaway flair to be displayed next to your name.

4 - Egg flair

The egg flair is an option available to users who are not able to generate Pokémon but would still like to contribute to the community.
This can be obtained by creating QR Codes or by breeding and sending Breedjects.

QR codes can be provided by uploading the image onto a website, such as imgur, and then leaving the direct link in the comments.

Unlike setting your flair text, the giveaway flair and the egg flair are entirely OPTIONAL features of the subreddit.
In addition, these two flairs are only granted to users who meet certain requirements outlined in this article.

Applying for Flairs

1 - A reference page (a post) should be made at /r/BreedableReferences. There you will record and manage the giveaways held or requests fulfilled in /r/BreedablePokemon.

2 - To record the details, you must obtain the short link for the thread and add it to your page at /r/BreedableReferences.

3 - Once you meet the requirements set in "Flair Requirements" send a message to /r/BreedableReferences's Modmail using the format below. Your flair will then be set if you have met all of the requirements. (Keep in mind it might take a while to get your flair.)

4 - Your flair application message should look something like this: ^{without the quotation marks}

  I would like to apply for the "insert flair name here" as I meet the requirement "insert requirement here" and here is my [reference page]("insert link to reference page here").
