Teacher, nurse or dental hygienist?

Not a nurse . Several family members are nurses. I want to chime in my 2 cents. Please don't go into teaching. I'd tell you that even before the pandemic.

I have had my teaching license for over 20 years. I am master's +. There is a lot of politics in some geographic areas that I was not privy to before or during obtaining my degree . Then when I started I had underestimated the politics/ networking behind it. I left came back same thing. I have been in large metro public, private, and suburban education I will still tell you don't pick teaching.

Does teaching work for a few absolutely! The key word I realized after is for a FEW. I spent more years being a paraprofessional in the field of education than I had being a teacher. This wasn't what I wanted when I obtained the degree.

I will apologize if this is a bit strong, but no one warned me. I can't not tell you my experiences and encourage you to consider something other than education.
