There is no one I can’t stand more than Stella. Everything that comes out of her mouth annoys me.

That whole subplot was just weird. The intervention letters were all completely right about what a bad idea the marriage was. I guess it goes to show that desperately wanting to be married can lead to messed-up decisions.

It’s too bad because I love Sarah Chalke and it’s not her fault; it’s the writing that made me never root for the two of them.

(My own biases figure heavily into this. I never ever wanted to be married, so when I eventually met a person I actually did want to marry, I knew he had to be the one. There was no question about it because I knew it wasn’t just my desire to be a wife or my biological clock, which I don’t have either.)
